Air-Britain
Founded in 1948, Air-Britain is the International Association of Aviation Historians,
run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.
Its aims and objectives are to -
to promote education in aviation subjects
to advance public knowledge of aviation in all its forms
to publish such information in the form of books and magazines
to record current events on the principle that today's news is tomorrow's
history and will be valuable for researchers and historians in the future
to support museums and associations involved in the preservation of
historical aircraft and records
West Cornwall Branch
The branch was formed in 1990 and is based in Penzance. A monthly programme of meetings is supplemented by visits, competitions, and a branch newsletter. The current subscription is £7.50 per year for branch membership.
